Deer movement in each area is different. There is not one rule applicable to everyone or everywhere. Culturally we label given standards as a result of average. With deer, movement is not the same across and in the same environment and elevation. Not all deer act the same. Just like driving a minivan does not mean that u r a soccer mom irrefutably. Hunters obsess over attractant. This is not an indication that attractant is not a benefit. My implication is merely observation of movement patterns should not be neglected. Other factors like buck to doe ratio, food sources, water supply, and bedding areas to name a few r proportionately imperative to maintain cognition of the surrounding deer. We have seen some tall tine 6 points up north. Many of them, and if their technique is practiced down south. Then that deer is not likely to be seen. Hunting is directly situational. Listen and learn deer habits and techniques. Do not ignore what surrounds u. (soccer moms r cool BTW. No offense soccer mom!)
